Step one
Determine What to Say... and What to Avoid
Beginning with a set of specific messages developed by subject matter experts and rated by 500 to 1,000 typical targets, Rehavior identifies what messages motivate individuals to act. These mindset segments represent clusters of individuals sharing similar viewpoints related to the specific topic area (e.g.: SUD treatment recidivism).

Step two
Identify Individual Mindsets
Using the Rehavior tool, a patented combination of statistical algorithms, to assign individuals to an appropriate mindset segment. Whether on a website, via a call center, in-person, or through appending aggregate data, the Rehavior tool reveals the mindset that individual belongs to.

Step three
Communicate to Motivate Action
Engage individuals using the words, phrases, and sentiments that match their mindset. The Rehavior tool specifies exactly what to say, and what to avoid saying, to motivate action.

Step four
Build a Smarter Electronic Target Profile
Integrate Rehavior data into the individual's electronic data record. The individual's mindset and messaging guidelines become key elements of their profile.

Rehavior's clinical trial success:

Objective:
Increase colonoscopy screening compliance in targeted patient group

Result: Increased colonoscopy completion to 35% (control 18.5%). Increased colonoscopy scheduled appointments to 50% (control 34%).

Rehavior's messaging out-performed UPenn physician's "usual care" by between 73% and 86%.

Objective:
Reduce 30-day readmission rates of congestive heart failure patients

Result: Reduced 30-day hospital readmissions to 4.8% from 17.6%. Nursing staff reported higher job satisfaction & patient engagement.
